The weather provided a bit of everything today. Ringing was just a couple of nets for an hour before rain and then increased winds but amongst the 9 new birds ringed was our 10th Yellow-browed Warbler. There was a Grey Wagtail in Barrackmasters Lane. Just a handful of Swallows through today but Robin and Song Thrush numbers are still high. The Brent Geese were in Longis Bay all day and were accompanied by a male Shoveler this afternoon. This flock of around 300 Linnets was partly captured in the super shot below.
