An influx of Black headed Gulls today took us from just a handful seen this week to in excess of 100 individuals arriving with fledglings from breeding grounds on the nearby continent.
Keeping the Gull theme going, amongst a flock of larger gull species gathered on Crabby Bay this afternoon were an adult Yellow legged Gull, a Dutch colour ringed Lesser black backed Gull and a UK colour ringed Great black backed Gull, see above image (JH)
